Dmitry Krymov was born in Moscow in 1954. After graduating from the Moscow art theater studio school in 1976 he worked as a stage designer in the Malaya Bronnaya Theater with his father, the eminent theater director, Anatoly Efros. In 15 years of theater work he designed more than 70 plays for theaters in Moscow, St Petersburg, Riga, Tallin and other cities in Russia. He also designed productions seen in England, France, Italy, Japan, Bulgaria, Poland and other countries. Since 1990, he has worked exclusively as a printer and graphic artist. He lives and works in Moscow.
