Kevin has worked extensively in Londonís west end, the USA and South-East Asia as a musical director for theatre producers Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber. He has conducted orchestras all over the world, including serving for two seasons as principal conductor for the Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra.  In 1994, Kevin became the first recipient of the Sir Charles Mackerras Conducting Award, having been the joint-winner of the Bellhouse Conducting Competition and the Willem van Otterloo Fellowship at the Australian Opera in the previous year.  In collaboration with Victor Kazan (book/lyrics), he has written Rebecca-The Musical and Atlantis.  Equally at home in the field of music and audio technologies, Kevin is researching in the dramaturgy of sound design and its implications in new forms of virtual storytelling and polymorphic narrative for theatre.  He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne and is Head of the Applied Music Degree Program at Box Hill Institute, Victoria, Australia.
