Woman in White

Woman in White grew out of an experimental student work and is based on Dario Fo and Franka Rame’s classic Female Parts.  Woman in White is a design based installation performance inspired by the “Waking Up” narrative.  The demands of work, husband, infant, and housework are presented as a congealed Baroque nightmare as white as a wedding-cake. The script is reframed into a series of key visual notes. The installation dissolves the boundaries between set, costume, props and performer.
