LOSER

With the unexpected lose of his parent a boy develops a supernatural relationship to objects.  This adaptation of Aimee Benderís short story ĎLoserí explores the beauty of disconnect through the delicacy of the writing and innocent narrative.  In his search the pure connection of unconditional love, this boy struggles to relate to people.  Adopted into the community he relates inanimate objects misplaced from their original home.  Expanding on the visual language of Benderís writing, this toy theatre piece uses shadows and blurred imagery to explore the story of a boy displaced.
